Michelle Obama on the cover of Vogue

Did you know that Michelle Obama will be appearing on the cover of March issue of US Vogue?

She is only the second First Lady (after Hillary Clinton in 1998) to appear on the front of the most influential fashion magazine in the world.

She breaks all cliches by being most probably the first forty-something black woman to do this. Good for her: she is truly stunning!

Need recipe suggestions!

I hope someone can help me! My hubby is turning 50 in two weeks and we are throwing a party for 50 people We will be offering finger food only as I am a very bad cook, but I promised him that I would take care of the food as we are hiring live music and already spending too much on everything else.

Does anyone have some ideas on easy, nice, cheap and cheerful recipes for finger food? Or a website where I can get them from?

Thanks!

It has been reported that the current economic environment has most deeply impacted the retirement mindset of Americans aged 40-49. Seventy-seven percent of them who plan to work past traditional retirement are doing so to receive health care benefits.
An article posted on 7News says that Suzan Wolpow, a psychotherapist and forty-something mom herself, started a group geared towards moms in their forties. This came about after she saw a need to help women connect around common concerns. Even though there's a lot more women in their forties having babies these day it seems that many women feel like they are the only ones.
